I Knew You

~ ~ ~

I KNEW YOU

I knew you a long time ago.
Or did I?
I guess I knew
who I thought I did.
But maybe not who you are.

I met you again
not long ago,
and you were just as I remembered you.
Only different.

Do I know you?

who knows himself/herself?

The search for that answer is what makes life worthwhile.

The things you left unsaid in this one speak as many volumes as the words you did use. You wrote it in such a way that each person reading it will come to a conclusion based upon his or her own past. More good work. s3

s3 - **smile** That is the beauty of poetry. It usually leaves openings in that way. We tend to close most of those with prose. Thanks, dear heart.

One who knows himself/herself is bright, and knows others is wisdom.

But,the question puzzled Socrates also. It's very difficult, maybe the best way is what you said.(The search for that answer is what makes life worthwhile. )

Yes,I think the meaning of life just a course.

May you happy!

I'm lucky browsing your blogs. They're pure-hearted log of you.I want to thank you too, because you give a ghost of true feelings and peace in the unreal internet world.Especially,I'm affected by the blog,it gives me a wonderful time.

By the way,I want to write the blog:http://mecorateisis.blogspot.com in english for you and other friends lest 'universal' words baffle communion.

my - Oh, how wonderful that you are going to write in English! I'm very happy to know that. Also, thank you for the kind compliment. My poetry is from my heart. It is honest, if nothing else. I appreciate your comments, as it tells me that my efforts at writing are not worthless. I welcome you to return.
